thought process...i have to say that i agree with you in some sense as far as the eccentricity goes. both were extremely charasmatic and drew people to them like bees on honey. however, i just can't see cassidy corrupting anyone in an evil way like manson did. they did do their own corrupting in sepreate ways. cassidy did corrupt peoples' minds and throw them on different paths for his own purpose, not to mention the need for attention, which also drove manson. both disired to be around many people and take them on different paths spouting anti-everything, yet at the same wanting recognition from the very people they were against.
