my irish is crap...But it hit me as a book that looked towards getting the most out of living.A mate of mine is kinda gone on the road around asia/austraila.Cause its pretty deficult to go "on the road" in little old Ireland.
Its probably one of the best road books i`ve read. And the characters are unforgettable. They also hold a historical value in relation to The Beat Generation, as many members of litkicks will tell you.But i can`t remember what character is what beat writer/person...
William Burroughs-Junky is a good road book also.
But Kerouac`s the best, if you liked ON THE ROAD i think.
Vanity of Duluoz is excellant..
Ah the Classics....up the Kingdom!!
