Trainsong-by Jan Kerouac

Posted to What Are You Reading?

I'm 39 pages into a book written by Jack Kerouac's daughter called Trainsong. So far it is autobograhical antecdotes. Early chapter placed Jan in Ginsberg and Orvolosky's home in Boulder Colorado. Peter is egging her on to recall one of her very few (i believe 2 in person and once on the phone) times where she had contact with her father.

I can't find all that much on Jan Kerouac on the net or in other readings i've come across. I do know that she also was an alcoholic and died young at 44. She has published i believe one other book.

It hasn't blown me away yet, truth is i'll read just about anything that relates to Jack Kerouac.
