IMMORTAL (sal takes the other fork in the road)

Posted to Action Poetry

IÂ’m a piece of light.
I gaze upon my soul
And see everything like
love and acceptance.
I want to make it
evolve further.
I want to make it
blend into the white
Of a glorious cloudburst
Doors open —
Waiting for me to enter
And cast my compassion
Upon the rolling souls
Within.
My soul,
gold-plated
And shining
A living organism
Lighting my insides
Afire.
I am immortal,
An exploding diamond
A freak of love
Full of acceptance
For my reality.
I dare to grasp
and I do,
Happy as I can be
In my sweet earth.
I am immortal,
And I know it.
I am not alone,
and everyone is like me.
Everyone is like me.
Immortal.
