my major problem with your original argument (though there are points within that i'd agree with) is that it's pretty impossible to say that without a doubt god is one thing or another... however, what's so hard to believe about a spirit communicating with another spirit? for me, it's an impossibility to believe that they don't.
whether or not god has a mouth in a conventional sense, i do believe that he/she/it speaks... you're more than free to disagree with that belief, but i don't think it's fair to say that if people say they've heard god, then they're gullible, egotistical, insane, or some other label. there's a vast world of experience out there... and i don't believe in closing my mind or spirit off to the possibilities.
