tho in no way shocking. politicos have always had
a strangle on media from the local to the national
level. there is a good(?) reason why the rush limbaughs
and other "conservative" news sources exist. the staunch
republican constituency are (themselves) tired of recieving
a very one sided and typically liberal version of the news
(the NY TIMES solgan...ALL THE NEWS THATS FIT TO PRINT
-as long as its in support of the democrats.
your anecdote is really amazing. but not shocking,
and not relegated to any one party let alone one bush.
