in streetlight shadows like crying vanilla chrome

Posted to Action Poetry

i know the words you speak
tho i never heard them before
they ring like a coyote echo
shine like a glass in the sun
i hang on every word
grasping with a hard fist
pinning them to the table
i know the poems you dream
tho i never heard them before
passing fast in streetlight shadows
like crying vanilla chrome
i grab on & ride
in a trail of exhaust fumes
you laughing in the wind
i know the thoughts you think
tho i never heard them before
they are born in a river rush
broken free from a wildflower jail
oh given the chance i would move
with insane abandon
to make reckless love to yer ethereal mind
