sitting on a couch
watching watching
a knock on a door
waiting waiting
glance away when noticed
a knock on a door
bag over shoulder she enters
click click--a closing door
sitting on a couch
aching aching
lights go out
a bed creaks
in bed she sleeps
arms wraped tightly
soft kissing from within
I'm sitting on a couch
utterances of love for her
from someone else.
