a wishing well to a societies prosperity

a wishing well to a societies prosperity
sits in the center of town
they gather to pull
to go back to create
to survive
buckets plunk and pull
drops roll off the sides
worn rope stains in black
pulleys squeek as people squawk
the town meeting place
circles form a wait
children dance in the dirt
given jugs
mixing mud

a wishing well to a socities prosperity
night clothes day
young yearning waits
stilts motion through
whistles bounce off palms
turn to grabs
ensuing screams
smacks and kicks
tight flesh penetrated
blades to throats
red semen squirted
conquering laughs pierce
motionless meat tossed in springs
mixing offerings
a wishing well to a socities prosperity
