The Government Doesn't Care About Us!

Don't mind the exclamation mark on the end of the subject sentence. That would lead some to believe that I am suprised by this. I'm not. The government is too filled with greed and thirst for power. They are overwhelmed and controlled by this drive. Or is it a thrive? We must maintain. We must be #1. We have to let everyone know that we are #1. They will pay for what they did. Those bastards. We'll show them. Hey...I know...let's solve the problem by blasting the hell out of those bastards. We'll show them.
Stop for a minute, or longer, and step out of yourself and out of this fucking mind game of politics that you are fed through your television and radio. Pretend for a second that it really doesn't matter. Just pretend. Take the average person. Remove television, radio, and all talk of war and other such ignorant bull-shit. Remove job...discussions at job of the bullshit. Remove newspapers. Remove magazines and magazine ads. Remove designer clothes and shopping for that perfect pair of shoes to go with that perfect outfit. Remove the electric can-openers, paper-shredders, and toilet seat covers. Remove all the bullshit in your life that doesn't matter in the end. The end...for those that don't know...being that day that you will die. Remove all of that, and what is left? What is left, obviously, is everything that you truly care about. People, experiences, relationships, love, breathing, living, etc. Now...remember...we are still pretending. You have removed all of that. Do you think the government cares about those things that are truly important to you?
