I've been looking into Buddhist thought, too. Really enjoyed "Thank You and Ok!: An American Zen Failure in Japan," by David Chadwick. Well-written, entertaining, enlightening ...

I've also been reading the "Zen Teachings of Jesus," by Kenneth S. Leong. It's good and serves as a reminder that Jesus' thoughts and legacy have been monopolized by so-called Christians. It's interesting to look at Christ from a Zen perspective.
