It also happened to be that Burroughs lived next door to the neuroanatomist who had been entrusted with the jarred remains of Albert Einstein's brain.

The scientist, whose name escapes me, packed the brain and took up a reclusive life in Lawrence, Kansas as William Burroughs' next door neighbor as he was afraid that the military would try to use Einstein's brain for weapons research.
