question about Wolfe and Thompson
Where do these guys fit into the literary scene? I've read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson and I am currently reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe. Both of which I strongly recommend. They are non-fiction, which almost makes them better than some fictional titles because at the end you are left with the awe of 'oh my god that actually happened'.
