RIP Douglas Adams+Samuel Beckett

I read Adams years ago and enjoyed him greatly, he will be missed-read "Last Chance to See" his global trip to search for endangered animals, told w/ his trademark wit. I've noticed Adam's roundabout buildups to ironic situational punchlines in the works of Samuel Beckett as well, the same sense of absurdity and irrational logic. Both took a subtle role in their stories as a bemused commentator.
