Aside from writing excellent poetry, Jim Morrison could read poetry with the best of them. Of course, for a lot of people, reading poetry is a fairly easy task given it's good poetry.
Just last week I started for the first time to read poetry aloud. It was Jim Morrison's The Lords and The New Creatures. I read poetry aloud almost every chance I get now. It comes more alive, no matter how trite and dull it may sound.
