individually, no, we don't have a say. but as a collective body we can influence decisions. the only thing lacking is the knowledge of how the system works and what we can do to change the things we don't like.
take, for instance, the federal reserve and the banking system. the FEDERAL reserve sounds like a government agency, doesn't it? It's not. It is owned by the major Banks in the U.S.
A major political figure in the early 1900's(can't remember who) once said...."if the american people knew how the banking system works in this country, there would be a revolution tomorrow"
