Well, except for the swell ending, I suppose your interests are not my cup of tea.
There is certainly a fresh charminess to your writing, but drunken, druggy, mild-sex exploits are tiresome except to the young. Though I suppose with American Pie about to launch its sequel, there are a LOT of young.
Too, using Kerouac as an example, it is easier to read someone who is self-effacing and very forgiving of people bumped into during picaresque adventures.
But, you are skilled with a charming style. I just suppose that I wish some of the dolphin insightfulness were present throughout.
