and black watery moonshine.
i was built to spill,
drinking in the
ink fume and
The savour of the dead salt.
Talisman dangles from the rear view
Virgin Mary pouts from the dashboard
Airfreshners sneeze on pine and ether
chill winds blossom in
Spring and Blew wither
on a crack'd cheek.
The chieftains sit on
solemn, peace-pipe holy land
carving slices from coyote roadkill
swollen rivers bridge the
East-to-West
