the sky emanates
a pregnant glow
its clouds fat
with water for life

ready to burst

showering its liquid pellets
on broken streets
cleansing our tainted souls
washing away the filmy grey
so we may see more clearly
our humanity

if only…..
we all were

ready to burst.
