rage of ages

Posted to Action Poetry

the hierarcy has been spent while it still wares upon our air,
and we've long since past the mark since we could harness the electron's might,
this age makes stale mistakes dark and harmful

the rage of ages fuel hords of foodless bodies to purge the greedy beast,
masked billy club branding bullies break bodies and encircle groups,
the hungry masses charge the shameful masked monsters

meanwhile just another streetside vegetable vender broken on the block sells brown brocoli to the bunch of bums with small coins and wrinkled bills,
they ask an extra spare squash of the vender, those upon that block who wander the oil caked curbs in search of salvagable salad spoils
