Another similar book is "A Different Beat" ed. by Richard Peabody (High Risk Books), featuring more work by women of the Beat Generation.
There's also a critical study: "Girls Who Wore Black," a collection of essays about women writers, including di Prima, Joyce Johnson, Hettie Jones, etc.
