JFK really wasn't all that great

If he had never been shot, he would go down in the books as someone rarely mentioned like Calvin Coolidge or someone. Kennedy has this reputation as a big civil rights guy, but Johnson was way more into that than JFK. JFK was a major conservative. It's amazing what an assassination will do for your public image.

So I'm saying he probably wouldn't be so fondly remembered if he hadn't been shot.
