the solution is obvious. when you post a story, don't you dare leave that fucking thing hanging there and then go chill on mindless chatter. or if you do, make sure you come back shortly and critique something. seriously, the only thing that stimulates response is response. the same thing applies to the poetry board, and to some extent, action poetry. if you respond to other people, they will respond to you. there are some people that i won't respond to just because i see that they never respond to anyone else. another thing that helps is if you respond to criticism of your work. thank the person for their time. stimulate discussion. that's what it's all about.
