what does *that* convey?
what does it say about your character?
what does it say about your perseption of me?

to move on from that... your example of lying is exactly what i mean except, what about the reality of words creating realities for writers, when in fact the words convey not a reality but a fantasy... i'm talkin' about a writers precarious position as a man of letters - a writer is not aware of all that his words convey, nor of the level reality/truth of his message... eg. are my "epiphanies" real or fantasy? am i deluding myself? are the palpable feelings of XTC a created facade acomplished through the use of words? Or is my "epiphany" real truth/meaning/value!?
