... to slow down the writing process to an intentional word by word process can either i) massively improve the 'ambience' of a prose/poetry piece or ii) absolutely destroy all signs of freeplay. I vacillate between them at once: sometimes I stop during a free-play poem and really think out my choice of word, usually a word with many levels of reality, and multiple applicablilities. I'm rambling too, but we've all had moments where we know our word choice is perfect, and see that the other knows alomost-exactly what we mean, and certainly feel akin to our feelings... those are the moments i love - intimate communication between strangers, friends, lovers - it's the reason for speech in the first place.

Love and Light,
