Good question

Posted to Poetry and Politics

One can assume that the US military will tightly restrict journalist's access to the "theater of operations" (gotta' love that military language. It's poetry, isn't it?, all metaphor and cryptic phrases).

I hadn't thought of the Iraqis posting images to the net. Is there an Iraqi website? www.saddamhussein.com, perhaps? Haven't tried it. How difficult would it be for the US forces to block such sites?

What about journalists from other countries? Will they penetrate the news blackout? Will they be able to circumvent the sanitized and officially authorized Pentagon news by posting their information online?

I'd like to ask people to share any links to such "unauthorized" online accounts if/when they come across them - I think that would be helpful. Good post, Um.
