another question...

You mentioned the Dalai Lama and the fact that his beloved country and culture is coming closer to extinction because of the invasion of China...but, if the Chinese had not invaded Tibet and driven the Dalai out would we have had the same understanding of his teachings? If he had stayed safely within his tiny country, isolated in his temples would we have had his sage words to consider? There are a group of Tibetians in our university here...sharing their culture with us and this is true of many places in the world. Is what happened in Tibet actually the impetus for positive change? Just wondering...
