It's like this

Like Ellipsis said, nobody controls where they were born. Also, all down thru history it's been one bloody land grab after another until the media got so good, some countries had to tone it down.
The U.S. was fought over by the French, the Spanish, the British, all the while the Indians were here first. I can't even begin to list all the conquorers like Napoleon (France), Alexander the Great (Macedonia), Hitler (Germany), and before Hitler, the German Huns, the the Civil War, and slavery not just in this country but in ancient Egypt and a myriad of other countries, ancient cave dwellers whacking each other with big bone clubs.

Hell, I just figure no matter where you live, the Bigs Dogs are going to take what they want and do what they do.
I'm not saying I should just settle for it but it's not always easy to know what to do, and a lot of my energy is just used in surviving the bullshit insurance hikes, fuel hikes, food hikes, medicine hikes, tax hikes, publishing hikes, bloody hike hikes,

So, to answer the question, I'm not ashamed to be who I am and I happen to like living where I live and I don't think any one country is morally better than another.

Oh, and frigging beer hikes.
