I wear my darkened face
eyes blank drowning falling
These empty expressions invite curious
meaningless gaze
It will make you a mirror, don’t look
don’t you dare even ask me what time it is
Time ticks in slow and rhythmic
forgetful ways
Ill say.
But understand these expressions are not my own
I borrowed them from you,
yes I saw them too
Looking through to the pit of your deviations
Feeding off that meaningless utter,
empty life.
Don’t you dare ask me what time it is
I only have my own.
You all overtake me in your denied psyche
Ill light my gloomy eyes
with your bliss
With out knowing, without asking or feeling.
I have fallen, I am
falling closer to you
Ignorant and running away I latch
to that vacant ecstay,
forgetting feels so good.
I wear my darkened face.
I write these accommodating words
They aren’t for him, they are for you.
Looking at me. Pretending to know how the clock ticks.
You dont.
Don’t ask me what time it is.
words can't replace time
Ill say.
