... who presents a "theory" (in "Beyond Freedom And Dignity") not by proposing then arguing, but by making proposition 1, then further propositions 2,3 and 4, then 5, 6, 7 and - whoops - end of chapter. Maybe evidence, argument or proof is in the next chapter? Fat chance. More assertions, then a watery reference to what's ahead. Third chapter, fourth, fifth - more assertion. Chapter 10, 11, 12, 18, 25... - whoops! End of book!
