sorry to be picky but...

i know theres a lot of discussion about this but i don't think Primo Levi killed himself, partly because i don't want to think it, but also because there are too many strange elements to his end. he was seen in a jovial mood seconds before and the manner of his death seems unlikely; an elderly man throws himself over stairwell and falls without making a sound. don't know if you could throw yourself down a tiny gap in a staircase from four floors up and not make a sound even an instinctive cry. for those of you who have not read the man his work particularly "the Periodic table" and "if this is a man" is haunting, magnificent and deeply modestly humane.
