the theory can be adapted to anything! that's it's best qualitity (quasi-universal), but, really, when all is said and done this theory is not going to make anything better now is it? IT's perhaps partyly-true, but it leaves out a lot of other parts, and the part it does focus on is rather obvious in the end - the economy determines [IN PART!] how we are.

I studied Marxism, specificly Marx himself and Althusser, and really that one nigglin point (why theorise in a material/[practical) philosophy, kept coming up. THese people were supposed to be "revolutionary", they were supposed to be on the ground changing the world, not making it into a permanent (and rather pessimistic) philosophy! Well, there's a lot more to say, but that'll do for now.
