No, I totally disagree, I think she really knows for whom she's writing, and she has assumed that traditional English story-telling prose style that you come across in all the best children's story writers. You can't compare the Harry Potter books to greats like Hemingway and Fitzgerald, because they're written for kids. And I do think she's up there with Tolkein, White, Carrol, and Dahl; she's as great in a different way. Just as compelling, just as much attention to detail, just more modern.
