...like that one guy that doesn't get the joke whenever i read Joyce. he's tremendous, both in his subject and his sheer literary force, but sometimes...
i dunno, it feels like he's lecturing me. or gazing at me in frank wonder at my idiocy.
but i'm going to try to get into Ulysses at some point
