A Week is a Long Time on the Internet

Jujubee: My problem with thinking about God as a person comes from the fact that I just don’t know what He/She/It would look like.

Desire: Why does it matter what God looks like?

Jujubee: I dunno…I really like the idea of “God” just being some invisible thing in the universe that carries life and death…not some bearded guy in the clouds.

RockLobster23: Everyone knows God is a woman anyway.

Jujubee: :)

Desire: God is a skateboard.

Rocklobster23: lmao at Desire

Jujubee: we know about as much about God’s gender as we do about yours, Desire

Desire: I’ll never tell :P

Jujubee: anyways, enough of that. Some people say that God is everything in the world.

Rocklobster23: everything?

Desire: I’ve heard that before…

Jujubee: I had a professor in college that said God is present every time you take a breath, because that is your truest connection to the life source. You take a breath without thinking. It just happens. And that is God.

Rocklobster23: If God is everything, then how do I explain this unlabelled tube of mystery ointment that I just found under the seat of my car?

Desire: That’s God at work to the fullest extent.

Jujubee: omg, mystery ointment?

Rocklobster23: yeah, I don’t really remember buying ointment for anything. Maybe it is a magical ointment that will make me live forever, singing in the luminous glow of God.

Desire: All from an ointment that was probably just put there by some stupid leprechaun. Some people have all the luck.

Rocklobster23: I’m really scared of this stuff now. It expired seven days ago.
Jujubee: When that Cult of the Dead Horse stuff was happening?

Rocklobster23: Yeah. This has bad vibes all over it. (throwing in garbage)

Desire: NO!!!!! Now we’ll never know what it was. That could have been God, waiting to come out of the mystery tube.

Jujubee: Or it could have just been tough actin’ Tinactin. You never know about these things. Besides, it was only a week old.

Rocklobster23: That Cult of the Dead Horse stuff really happened only a week ago? It seems like years since we were talking about that.

Desire: A week is a long time on the internet.

Rocklobster23: it really is.

Jujubee: The mass slaughtering of horses is just plain weird.

Desire: God works in strange way.

Jujubee: ?

Rocklobster23: What the hell are you talking about?

Desire: Well…if God is everything and everything is God, than the slaughtering of horses is just as relevant as some kind of positive thing, like Mother Theresa or something like that. I mean, if it happened, than it happened, and that’s that. Nothing else can be done about it. That was God at work right there. God is sitting with us here on the Infinity chatboard at Heaven.com, smiling through my punctuation. It’s like God is that thing that turns the : and the ) into :)
