unplug yourself from politics friend. You are wound way too tight. Life is not necessarily politics unless you use very liberal terms in politics and even then they are used poorly. And by you questioning you seem to prefer and want politics in your art. You seek the political in your art. That's why you have a post saying the best political lyrics on Radiohead's new album. It's sad really. Art has so much greater a function than to agendize the world. There's enough crap without adding a new level of agenda. What I'm saying is that if you write fiction then be true to the story and not politics, if you write poetry be true to poetry without an agenda politically speaking. In the end it removes the labels from writing, doesn't it. I mean, African American literature is literature, Women's Literature then becomes literature.
