A blinking pedestal, one click-lid
And vase is shut, groved and frozen
In fragment, see, the windfall
Hides the faces, brown as obligation
In the school of sun, forces situated
Down the creek of summer, a planet
Of rib, a disappearing heart at the core,

And it hurts like tradition couldn't admit
To being spectacle of course, a wind-shape
In the hallway bringing bedroom
To the breeze and I breathe
Into my belly like all the books say,
Breathe against the forgiving flow
And dimly quicken the light.
