okay, well, yes, there's MANY better ideas in the realm of global art culture et al that this project could engage up the road. but put yourself in levi's shoes & PUT ON A BUSINESS HAT. i don't think he wants to throw money at a nicey nice project that sounds good but doesn't have a chance to sell. so a necessary business strategy would be to go for a home run on the first pitch. get the action poetry book series off the ground with one that invites media attention and thus INTEREST from corners other than the usual ones. that translates into sales. then roll the capital into the ideas that stoke yr vibe. get it, fire-c?
