Brother of the More Famous Jack
An absolute wonderful first novel by South African native Barbara Trapido. The writing is amazing. Makes you want to talk smarter, wittier, funnier. She has a gift for the english language. With lines like” I found all that sex so unexpectantly jolly”. Its a great book. Winner of the Whitbread Special Prize for fiction. Get it if you can. It will make your soul smile.
