Jonathan Livingston Seagull
by Richard Bach. I recommend anyone read this.
It is a beautiful little story [very small, less than 90 pages most of which are photos] about a seagull that wants to learn more about flight.
Most seagulls learn the basics - enough to get by - but Jonathan wants more.
It's about making your own life following your own path.
It's a little bit 'self-help' but it is worth an afternoon of anyone's time.
I'm now reading Wuthering Heights for the first time. I'm reading it at the request of a friend. She made a good choice. It is an unbelievably passionate book - passion only a woman COULD write - filled with despair and the msot beautifully poetic lines you could imagine.
I'll read this book over and over again until I die.
