I admire my chickens
they are a bit like me
Earth bound
but fly a little
and rather funny
they give food
they are the ultimate
fertility symbol
they roam around the garden
doing their thing
Just Mother and Daughter
They are curious creatures
and will pop inside
they eat what I eat
(cept chicken)
they are black and green
and silky
and the daughter chicky is clever
she lays green eggs
which is good
cos I would eat them
in a house
or on a train
or with a mouse
But most of all
I love my chickens
for they always
say
good morning
