Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Periodically interspersed with pieces of "The Collected Poems of Dylan Thomas". Just because it's that kind of mood, and that kind of day.
Although I must say while reading "Fear and Loathing..." for the first time, having already seen the movie, I am hearing Johnny Depp's voice in my head as I read. This I think is a good thing; it's so rare that a movie based on a book complements the written word so perfectly, as it does in this case. Ups my appreciation of the film and it's makers, while making the book that much more alive.
And I've come to a conclusion: I am in love with Hunter S. Thompson. Oh yes indeed.
