Posted to What Are You Reading?

After reading On the Road (Jack Kerouac) for the third time again (my favorite book to date.) Others I've read recently:

"1984" - George Orwell - Preety Good Sci-Fi Negatopian Read.

"Animal Farm" - George Orwell - Preety Good as well, a little Communistic metaphore, fun.

"The Old Man and the Sea" - Ernest Hemingway - I though this was really great. Very simple, short, and moving.

"Naked Lunch" - William S. Burroughs (1959) - A little disapointed, too avant garde for me.

"Love in the time of Cholera" - Gabriel Garcia Marquez (1988) - Great love story without being sappy, a good read.

Right now I'm halfway through Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, which is very good so far, and I hear the ending is dynamite!
