I was cold, and so tired.

Posted to Poetry

i was very cold, trying as hard as i could to lose myself, void into the rythm of my feet scraping pavement as the moonlight shone down upon me and the rest of the cold october night.

i never knew a city could be silent at Four a.m.

walking the streets handing cigarettes to the homeless without hearing cars, busses, horns, pedestrian chatter or anything. Just, silence.

but eventually i had to find a porch, and like the rest of you, i slept.

i hate waking up to all of this noise.
