Raised up on edges.
A limb precariously dangling over the crater wall.
Entangled in the temporal maze but disembodied from the flesh.
Tear back the curtain -
Reveal the wound -
Sutures unwoven -
Peeled back to bone,
Glue and saliva the skeleton's only coat.
Enter the centrifugue and absorb the sheer force,
Smeared against the outer wall,
Pressed tighter than the groom's suit pants.
And from the centre, a nose rises steadily -
Like periscope emerging -
The nose just keeps coming
But without a face dragging behind.
Just one detached nose;
A lopsided mountain amidst the empty air.
