me as the storm
The storm cried out to me tonight.
The rain was its tears,
the thunder its pleas for me to join it.
And I did, I crept inside its world.
I was no longer an outsider.
It let me in, and I was one with it.
I was its tears, and I cried down upon the earth.
I was the thunder crashing and crackling, and I was the lightning dancing with the darkness.
And when I was through with dancing and crying, I faded away, and drifted to sleep.
