As someone fortunate to be in the final round

I want to let you know that there were two impediments to blowing people away. First of all, I think we only had about four days to submit the work. This is a very small window to work with. Second of all, 300 words is not a lot to work with. It is very difficult for a reader to get attached to a story or a character when the writer has next to no time to develop a cohesive story or engaging character.
Having said that there was some good stuff out there.
