Allen Ginsberg and his relationship to nature through his poetry

Posted to WritersAndGenres

I am trying to write an introduction to a poetry anthology for a class. I have chosen Allen Ginsberg as my poet. I am trying to persue a degree of tension that Ginsberg may have felt between his upbringing in the city environmnent of Paterson New Jersey and a desire to experience something more natural, simple, and sacred that seems to be demonstrated by such poems as Sunflower Sutra, A Stange New Cottage in Berkeley, A Vow, and other poems. If anyone has any background information on Ginsberg that could help me with my quest, or any interpretations of these poems that might shed some light on what I am looking for, please email me at shrm80@yahoo.com. Thank you
