No more preaching, a bit more reaching.

What does it mean to describe a writer as "transgressive"?

I have an idea what postmodernism is. But what would anyone else explain as being post-modern? I sometimes think we use words and forget what they mean.

Post-modernism, to my mind, is the lack of distinction between low culture and high culture. The text referring to itself in a very self-aware manner. Very culturally aware.

What does post-modernism do to language and how does this effect the way we act?

I can't really work out what post-modernism is to be honest. I thought I sort of knew.
