Texas and Florida
The NY Times yesterday pointed out that the two states likely to benefit most from Bush's space plans are, surprise, Texas and Florida (both home states of NASA operations).
It also pointed out that he isn't proposing enough funding to cover his ambitious ideas. Consequently, the programs'll probably have enough funding to get him through (oh lord, perish the thought) a second term but then, guess what? The programs, by then ongoing, start running out of funding. Guess who gets stuck with the bill? The succeeding administrations. Thanks, George!
